<p>FGM have a strong survival, despite initiatives for their elimination. This study aims to document the determinants not yet or insufficiently explored that contribute to the survival of these practices in the department of Danan&eacute;. The data collected comes from individual interviews, direct observations dans focus group with administrative authorities dans populations. The results indicate that FGM are cultural practices that have a strong survival in the Dan community due to the culture of silence and the complicity of stakeholders.</p>
